MULTI FACTOR AUTHENTICATION (MFA):
At PSCU we are focused on protecting you and your money. In an effort to enhance our mobile and online banking security, we are introducing Multifactor Authentication (MFA), starting in February.
Why MFA Matters
MFA adds an extra layer of security to prevent unauthorized access to your accounts. By requiring a verification code in addition to your current login process, MFA significantly reduces the risk of account takeover, identity theft, and fraudulent transactions.
How MFA Works
When you log in to online banking or the mobile app, you’ll receive a verification code via text message (SMS), or email. Simply enter the code to complete the login process.
IMPORTANT TIP: Check Remember this Device option to reduce the number of times you’ll need to use MFA.
Update Your Contact Information
To ensure everyone on your account receives verification codes without interruption, verify and update your contact information:
- Log in to online banking or the mobile app.
- Click on your name or the profile icon from the top right corner.
- Click Personal Information
- Review and update or your phone numbers and email address as needed.
- The first time you login with MFA, click the Remember this Device option to reduce the number of times you’ll need to use MFA.
Thank you for your cooperation in enhancing the security of your accounts! If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
